The D4D Network will work to foster the innovative use of data to advance inclusive and democratic development by supporting a series of local interventions to address key challenges facing policy-makers seeking to affect real change across the Global South. Over the next two years, will be seeking partners and project opportunities related to:

  1. Enhancing data governance capacities to advance democracy.
  2. Building inclusiveness through the development of gender data and the adoption of feminist approaches to data use and data governance.
  3. Leveraging innovation from the private sector to advance the use of data for development.

Under these three themes, small grants will be made available via a call for proposals to identify projects across the Global South that will explore innovative pathways to developing the capacity to govern data effectively for democratic and inclusive use.

Stay tuned. More to come soon!
